On March 23rd, 2023, Luxury Business Group (LBG) hosted Mr. Albert Bensoussan, Vice-Chairman of Bang & Olufsen and former CEO of Kering Watches & Jewelry, as a speaker at the 2023 Consumer and Retail Forum in Seoul, Korea.
Organized by Chosun Media, one of largest media companies, this year's event centered on the theme "Next Era: Brand Insight." Held annually in Seoul since 2009, the forum attracted over 600 retail industry professionals.
Mr. Bensoussan said Luxury is characterized by key criteria such as selective distribution, timelessness, excellence in materials and craftsmanship, aesthetics, creativity, brand DNA, innovation, and iconic communication. He emphasized that as luxury brands navigate the digital era, they must strike a balance between exclusivity and broad digital exposure.
