In an era of increasing volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA), collective intelligence becomes increasingly important for solving organizational problems.
Employees must be able to express their ideas, and group members must respect and value each other's differences in order to maximize collective intelligence. Research over the past decades has shown that organizations with diversity perform better and generate higher profits.
As a result, many global companies are prioritizing diversity and inclusion as core values and key policies to strive for a better future.
An Italian fashion brand G, which has commissioned this training, is known for its strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion.
Following last year's training, this year they conducted three sessions of "D&I Training" with LBI Korea for new hires at their office and stores.
LBI's "D&I Training" is a popular program in the "Luxury Humanities" category of LBI's curriculum. Its ultimate goal is to make participants realize and improve their unconscious biases, which can have negative effects on colleagues, customers, and ultimately, the business.
During this training, participants learned why securing diversity within organizations is important, what is needed to achieve it, the causes and types of unconscious biases that hinder diversity and inclusion, and the characteristics and communication styles across generations. They also learned how to practice diversity and inclusion in their daily work and connect through collaboration.
In a satisfaction survey conducted after the training, participants left the following positive feedback:
"It made me think that I need to live without biases."
"It was a time for me to realize and reflect on the unconscious biases I had."
"It was informative and enjoyable to understand the differences and characteristics across generations."
It is hoped that through this training, G's employees will gain knowledge of collective intelligence and collaboration based on diversity and inclusion, which will significantly help them live up to the brand's values and philosophy.
We strongly advise you to take part in LBI's "D&I Training" right away if you want to think about unconscious biases that can be seen in organizations and everyday life, develop more expansive and rational perceptions, and produce favorable results for people and organizations.
