In April 2024, an F&B conference themed 'All About Luxury Business' was held. This event was aimed at managers of Four Seasons Hotels in the Asia Pacific region (Four Seasons APAC). F&B Managers from various countries in the Asia Pacific region gathered to share insights on luxury business through a three-day workshop and conference. 

 

Notably, this conference featured a panel discussion by Daniel Mayran, chairman of Luxury Business Group (LBG), which garnered significant attention. The panel discussion included not only Daniel but also Shin-Ae Hong, a Korean chef and restaurant owner, and Manuel Jauchnig, founder and CEO of MRJ Group, a premium wine and spirits import company. Daniel Mayran inspired attendees by discussing various aspects of the luxury business based on his extensive experience.

In particular, Daniel responded to an attendee's question, "Among your experiences in the hospitality industry, what is the most valuable memory that could serve as a good example of luxury service?" by mentioning the famous chef Guy Savoy. He explained that seeing such a well-known chef personally greet guests gives them a sense of being treated like VIPs. 

 

Chairman Mayran emphasized the importance of personal touch, noting that it is crucial for a great chef to convey their vision in a simple and sincere manner. He stressed that while attracting customers to a restaurant is important, what truly makes them return is the quality of service. Therefore, he added, in the luxury F&B industry, creating unforgettable experiences and forming genuine connections with customers is key. 

 

Under Daniel Mayran's leadership, LBG will continue to participate in diverse and successful events like the Four Seasons F&B Conference, sharing global insights and leading the development of the luxury business.
